BASIC ASSESSMENT AND SUPPORT IN INTENSIVE CARE (BASIC)
This is an internationally recognized course aimed to teach participants to rapidly assess critically ill patients and provide initial treatment and organ support.
BASIC is a short course held over 2 days, conducted by intensivists which covers essential and fundamental aspects of intensive care. It consists of a course manual for pre-course reading, pre-course test, short lectures focusing on application of knowledge gained from pre-course reading, skill stations and a post-course test.

How to register?
- Basic course flyer for individual courses will be posted on MSIC website/FB page approximately three months prior to course date.
- Scan QR code on flyer to register
- Payment is made upon registration to secure slot.
- Limited to 30 participants per course.
- First come, first serve basis
Refund policy for cancellation
- Six weeks prior to course date: 100% refund.
- Four to six weeks prior to course date: 75% refund.
- Two to four weeks prior to course date: 50% refund.
- Less than two weeks prior to course date: no refund.
