UPDATE ON MEMBERSHIP FROM THE MALAYSIAN SOCIETY OF INTENSIVE CARE
This is to inform you that the Executive Committee of the Malaysian Society of Intensive Care at its meeting on 18th February 2019 made a number of decisions regarding membership to be in line with the constitution and to better serve members.
- The membership register has recently been compiled and updated by the secretariat. This membership register will be regularly updated every year.
- Members are required to pay their membership fees by 28 February of each year, failing which they will not be able to enjoy the members’ benefits for that year (even if they pay later in the year). For this year, members need to pay their subscriptions by 30 April 2019 to enjoy members’ benefits (including lower registration fees for ASMIC 2019).
- A letter will be sent via email to members who pay their subscription by 28 February (30 April for this year), indicating their membership status for the year.
- For life members, they will be issued an e-certificate.
- A member who fails to pay his/her subscription for 36 months shall be liable to have his/her name removed from the membership register.
The secretariat will send out emails to members notifying their membership subscriptions. You are also encouraged to write to the secretariat about your membership standing too.
The secretariat will email the e-certificate to life members once the certificate is printed.
